I was obsessed with weight loss in my twenties and most of my twenties. You name it, I was on it: Atkins, raw, vegan, juices, low-fat, low in fat, hunger, etc. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
I always wrestled either with energy or weight or both. Instead of trying to see why I was fighting in the first place, I started to lose weight. Ets
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Unless I tried and failed every single one. Never once did I finish a "diet" as I was completely happy with where I wanted to be in health. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Here I consider what was missing the link for my success: ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
① Most diets are about deprivation. You can't have this. This is on the banned list so you can't have it. We are human: as soon as we know that we cannot have something, we want it even more. And when we "give in" we feel guilt, we give up and we chalk it up for lack of willpower. But that doesn't have to be the case. You can enjoy what you love and still achieve the results you want. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
② Most diets do not take into account the power of mindset when it comes to healthy living. I always talk to women who eat healthy and exercise regularly but still can't lose weight. There are many things that happen around this but just know that weight loss is not just eating healthy + exercise = weight loss. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
➡️ This stuff always jazzes me up !!! I'd love to hear what part of this model you need to work on – tell me in the comments below! ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
