Let's be honest.
Be honest with yourself, it's the first step towards any change you want to see in your life. You need to be clear about where you are starting, so you can find the right path to the change you are seeing. In other words, you must identify the real root so that you can find the right solution.
e.g. Julie is 47, full-time, busy, and when she is downtown, she takes up front television. She often misses breakfast, gets lunch at lunch, maybe chicken or fish at dinner. Some days it is Mexican food and margarite and afternoon chocolate.
Julie hates what she sees in the mirror. Her skin is yellowish, she is overweight and her energy level drops further when she thinks about how uncomfortable she is with herself.
She wants to lose weight, feel better, have more energy, look better and that her clothes fit better.
In January, she bought a gym membership and swore to eat less. She does the same thing every year, but she still looks and feels the same. Exercise and eating less do not work for her.
Julie's true roots are that she does not eat enough food, her body lacks the nutrients she needs, she does not drink enough water and she does not get enough sleep. Exercise and the promise of eating less don't work for them.
Root: don't eat enough food (your body will hang on every bit you eat because it doesn't know when to eat again.)
Solution: eat more food. The right balance of nutrition, dosage and dosage every single day is how you lose weight.
ROOT CAUSE: Her body lacks the nutrients she needs.
