Two of the most common challenges we encounter during Ramadan are hunger and fatigue.

As productive Muslims, we must ensure that such feelings do not prevent us from taking advantage of this blessed month and our responsibilities towards our Creator and those we are responsible for.

In general, the main reason for being miserable in the morning and all day is due to lack of proper sleep. Not having enough nutrients in our bodies can also cause us to get tired early in the day.

Here are some things you can do:

➡️ Never underestimate the power of a good night's sleep. Get it right first •
Ships Don't skip your Sahur. This is hardly news but so many people skip the meal before dawn for one reason or another. Your body relies on ready energy to keep it going. When you eat well in Sahur to start your day, you can keep your blood sugar levels on a relatively regular basis

➡️ Stay healthy After lunch and be like Goldilocks where the item is "just nice". Fasting is not a reason to eat too much. When you eat a really big meal, your body needs to consume a lot of energy just to process it, which can leave you dead and the effects can be the next day

➡️ Regular exercise is important because it is one of the quickest ways to control our energy. Even if it's just a quick walk, it gives you a boost of energy instead of exhausting you. Schedule exercise to increase your energy

➡️ Keep liquid well. Water contributes to maintaining normal physical and cognitive functions. Increase your conscious intake of water and practice getting a glass of water instead of another cup of coffee, as water hydrates your body and keeps your mind fresh.
