I think it's a well-known fact that once you've reached the age of 40 it will be harder to lose fat.

And many women further compound this problem by avoiding strength training.
As you grow older and approach the menopause, you run into major problems.

Below is what I have been trying to do over the past few years and intend to continue:

✅DIET:
I have made eating a healthy lifestyle. The majority of meals contain lean protein with small amounts of rice or canned vegetables and salads, and I indulge on weekends.
My biggest focus with the diet is trying to keep my protein reasonably high. .
.
Since I strengthen training 4 to 5 times a week, I usually aim for at least 1 and a half grams plus per kg of weight. But you can keep it around 1 to 1.5 grams per kilogram of weight if you are only exercising 2 to 3 times a week. .
.
. 🌟MY ADVICE: is NOT cutting out any food from your diet, but you must be aware of the calorie diet.

. EXERCISE:
My strong advice to all women of all ages out there would be to really take up weight training and try to do the appropriate weight at least 3 times a week and can even go up to 5 times (I train weights 5 to 6 times a week) week.
The best way to keep your fat content in check or to lose fat and take care of your bone health is to do weight training 3 to 5 times a week, and also do 10 to 20 minutes of heart a few times a week.

The biggest thing I think most women over 40 still find difficult to cope with is receiving weight training and overcoming the fear that if they start lifting weights, they will somehow become men. .
